What we collect.
Information you give us
When you request a cash offer, home valuation, or schedule a consultation, you provide us with your name, email address, phone number, the property address you’re asking about, property details you choose to share (timeline, ownership status, condition), and anything you write in a message or note.
Information collected automatically
Cookies and analytics — Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, time on site, funnel drop-off points).
Advertising attribution — If you arrived via a Google Ads click, we record the click identifier so we can measure ad performance. We do not use this to retarget you across other sites.
Technical — Browser type, device, referring page, hashed IP address (for security and rate limiting only).
How we use it.
To run comparative analysis on your property and prepare a written cash offer or valuation. To contact you about your request — by phone, text, or email, at the address/number you provided. To coordinate with our sponsoring broker (LPT Realty, LLC) on transaction matters. To measure marketing effectiveness so we know which channels bring real sellers. To comply with Texas Real Estate Commission record-keeping requirements.
Who we share it with.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with iBuyers or marketing companies without your explicit consent.
Limited sharing happens with: LPT Realty, LLC — our sponsoring broker, for transaction-related compliance. The cash-buyer network — if you specifically request a cash offer, your property details (NOT your contact info) are shared with vetted cash buyers so they can prepare offers. Your name and contact stay with us unless you accept an offer. Service providers — Google (analytics + ad measurement), Bluehost (hosting), email delivery services, under written agreements. Legal compliance — if required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
Your choices.
Opt out of marketing contact — reply STOP to any text, click unsubscribe in any email, or email us at hello@goodpublicgroup.com.
Request your data — if you’re a Texas resident or otherwise have rights under CCPA or GDPR, you can request a copy of what we hold, request deletion, or request correction. Email us and we’ll respond within 30 days.
Cookie controls — most browsers let you block or delete cookies in settings.
Retention, security, and children.
How long we keep it. If you submit a cash offer or home valuation request, we keep your information until you ask us to delete it, OR for the period required by the Texas Real Estate Commission for transaction records (typically four years from the date of the last transaction).
Security. We use industry-standard security practices (HTTPS encryption, hashed identifiers, access controls). No system is 100% secure. If we discover a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by Texas Business and Commerce Code § 521.053.
Children. Our site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Updates to this policy. If we change anything material, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above. For substantial changes, we’ll post a notice on the homepage for at least 30 days.
