The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) requires all real estate license holders to provide a Consumer Protection Notice to consumers, informing them of their rights and how to file a complaint.

Complaints and Recovery
If you have a complaint against a real estate license holder, you may file a complaint with TREC. Complaint forms and instructions are available online at trec.texas.gov/complaints.
The Real Estate Recovery Trust Account is available to compensate aggrieved persons who suffer monetary damages caused by certain acts committed by license holders. Information regarding the Real Estate Recovery Trust Account is available at trec.texas.gov.
